Abstract
This study aims to analyze the ability of spatial representation in solving space geometry in terms of brunner’s theory.. Research result of the spatial represetation ability namely 1) students sketch the picture and illustrate the problem presented; 2) students work on the question given with complete stages (processes) by using the right concept (presenting conceptual concepts formed from old concepts) and 3) students explain the concept process that is done by using their own language. While based on brunner’s stages in the enactive phase, students manipulate objects observed to find certain pattern, concepts or principles. For the iconic stages students visualize geometric objcts in a sketch or picture. Furthermore for the symbolic phase students recontruct concepts thet have been visualize to be described with words or sentences and express them in the form of a formula.
