Research Skill Development (RSD) within Analogy Method to Improve Student Creativity Skills (a*) and (b): Universitas Jambi Abstract The need of improving student creativity ties in with efforts teachers need to implement in science learning. Thus, Research Skill Development (RSD) framework with analogy method was applied in this study, aiming to improve student creativity skills by prompting students to constantly create analogies in science learning. RSD framework was introduced for the purpose of articulating and scaffolding student skills, creativity is one of them. In this project, an RSD-structured analogy method was implemented as an initiative to enhance creativity skills of students in Indonesian context. The participants in this study were 30 Junior High School students studying science. The results provoked discussion on the ways that RSD-structured analogy method effectively improved student creativity skills, based on the improvement of student creativity skills measured by attitude scales consist of 5 creativity skill indicators.
