Blended Learning on Students’ Motivation: The Case of Teaching Solar System

Abstract

Revolution industry 4.0 is really related to technology, in which the Internet and cloud computing create different opportunities and challenges for formal education systems.Blended Learning approach is one approach that combined online learning and face to face learning. The aim of this research was to investigate the effect of Blended Learning on students’ motivation in learning the solar system for 7th-grade students. The method used in this research was weak experiment research.Research design in this researchis used byThe One-Shot Case Study. Participants in this research were 16 male studentssecondary schoolsat one Privat Junior High School in Bandung, Indonesia. The average score of students motivation that learning used Blended Learning is 68.88 and categorized as adequately. The percentageis93.75% of students are categorized as adequately motivated and 6.25% of students categorized as highly motivated. Based on the results showed that Blended Learning can be an alternative tool to enhance students’ motivation
